Pragmatic Play · 2025
Majestic Express Gold Run is a high volatility video slot by Pragmatic Play on a 5x4 grid. This page sets out its figures before your first spin.
Pick a bet between A$0.10 and A$250, and the game is a 5x4 slot with mining, trains and Western themes. The reels carry the old prospector, the white horse, a mine cart, dynamite, a pickaxe and shovel, plus the A, K, Q, J and 10 cards. Three matching symbols start a win. The main mechanic is Money Symbol Collection, which gathers MONEY and TRAIN MONEY values.
Treat reel 5 as the key reel. When COLLECT or SUPER COLLECT lands there, the MONEY values (1x to 15x) and TRAIN MONEY values (1x to 8x, with MINI20x, MINOR50x, MAJOR500x and GRAND5000x) are collected. Money Collect can trigger in the base game or during free spins. Free Spins, Multiplier and Wild complete the feature set.

Round walkthrough
Read this before the first spin, when the bet and the session limit are still open.
Pick a bet between A$0.10 and A$250 before each spin. The bet sets every win in money, so A$0.50, A$2 and A$5 show how the paytable scales.
Check the 5x4 grid after each spin. Three or more matching symbols form a win, and the paytable shows what each symbol pays at A$0.50.
Look for Wild, Multiplier and the Money Collect feature in the base game. When COLLECT or SUPER COLLECT lands on reel 5, MONEY values from 1x to 15x are collected.
Free Spins are a feature of this slot. Watch the screen for the bonus start, then follow the spins as they play out. Money Collect can run during free spins too.
Set your limit in money before the first spin, and stop when it is gone. A session length cannot be known in advance, so the limit is the one fixed point.

Turn collects into money
Useful when a collect symbol or the free spins appear, to know what each mode pays out.
Watch reel 5 for COLLECT or SUPER COLLECT. When one lands there, MONEY (1x-15x) and TRAIN MONEY (1x-8x, MINI20x/MINOR50x/MAJOR500x/GRAND5000x) values are collected. This mode can trigger naturally in the base game or during free spins.
Base game spinsCollected money
Go for the Free Spins knowing that Money Symbol Collection can also run inside them. The Free Spins are a feature of Majestic Express Gold Run, and the collect mode can trigger during them as well as in the base game.

Check the price before you use the Buy Feature. It costs 100x the bet, which is A$500 at the example top bet of A$5. The game lists it as a paid feature, and the cost follows the bet you set.

Check the game rules before you bet to see which RTP version runs. RTP is the return to player per A$100 staked over a very large number of spins, so one session can differ widely.
| Payback level | RTP | Built-in choice |
|---|---|---|
| Variant 1 | 96.50% | Yes |
| Variant 2 | 96.49% | False |
Learn the reel layout
Fear of losing cash before you understand the reels is what the demo answers.
Try the demo before staking real money. The demo needs no money and pays nothing; the real game needs a Degencity Casino account and the legal age.
Play for realDecide how much you will stake per spin before you start, because nobody can tell in advance how often the bonus round arrives in Majestic Express – Gold Run. The result of one session is random, whatever the RTP version shown in the rules. The RTP is a long-run average over very many spins, not a promise for tonight.
Open the game rules to see which RTP version this lobby runs, because only the rules state it. The two versions of Majestic Express – Gold Run are close, so the rules are the only reliable check.
Treat the top prize as a ceiling you will almost never reach, not a target to chase. The maximum win of Majestic Express – Gold Run is a multiple of the bet, and it is hit very rarely, so set your session budget before the first spin.
Get the facts fast
Settles what most players ask: volatility, the bet range, bonus cost and demo access.
Pick this slot if you can wait through long dry spells. Majestic Express – Gold Run has high volatility, so wins come less often than in lower-volatility slots, but they can be large. Nobody can predict when the big win arrives.
Plan around the ceiling, not the headline. The maximum win is x20,000 times the bet. At the A$5 example bet that is A$100,000, and at the A$250 maximum bet it reaches A$5,000,000. Reaching that ceiling cannot be planned, so treat it as a limit, not a target.
Choose a bet that fits your budget. Bets run from A$0.10 to A$250 per spin. The paytable and examples on this page use A$0.50, A$2 and A$5, but these are not the limits of the game.
Know the features before you count on free spins. Majestic Express – Gold Run pairs Free Spins with Money Collect, Multiplier and Wild. Money Symbol Collection can trigger during free spins as well as in the base game.
Decide the cost before you press Buy Feature. The Buy Feature costs 100 times the bet, which is A$500 at the A$5 example bet. The price is paid up front, and no result is known at that moment.
Study the paytable before you stake real money. It is built on a A$0.50 bet, so each symbol's payout is shown in dollars at that stake. Then pick a bet between A$0.10 and A$250 that suits you.
Wider choice ahead

You must be 18+ to play. Get help from the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858, or register on BetStop, the national self-exclusion register.
Set a budget for this session before you open the game. Once the budget is spent, close the game, whatever the balance shows.
Decide your stop point before the first spin, and keep to it after a win too. A big win is no reason to keep going.
Use the deposit and loss limits in your account before you fund it. Limits keep a session from running past the amount you planned.
If the game stops being fun, take a break or self-exclude through BetStop before the next session.
